The My Chicagoland Garden Show launched In 2014, by Rich Christakes, Indiana Accredited Horticulturist and CEO of Alsip Nursery to bring free Lawn & Garden advice and information to the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana region. The show has grown to be one of WJOB’s highest rated programs with calls pouring in from all over Northwest Indiana by citizens who are looking for some friendly, free, professional advice on their lawn and landscape. Topics range from Wild Bird feeding/watching, Care of Landscape Plants such as trees, shrubs and perennials to How to properly water, fertilize and mow your lawn and much more.
